It started with the psychological abuse, then one day, he lost his mind and struck her. That was when the fights began.The bruises lefts lesions that could last a lifetime on her supple skin. She was running out of tricks in her bid to conceal them from probing eyes.

It was only two years, but the wedding bliss was already a figment. It felt like a strange dream made worse by the endless trauma. The sensual moans of two hearts beating as one was lost to the wails of battering and unabashed altercations.

She knew it was time to move on but moving out was not an option. Reality check; she had no where to go, no steady flow of income and would never leave her cub behind for his array of whores.

I remember that night. They fought again. It was bloody. The sound of their battling filled my room. Everything they had in the house was upturned and utterly destroyed. I could hear them yelling.
