The Battle Continues...

Something very strange has been happening and I can't keep it to myself anymore. When I was younger it was very easy to kill ants, cockroaches, flies and even mosquitoes. They were very meek and would wait for you to kill them, end of story. These days, insects no wan die. Their speed the moment you try to kill them leaves you wondering if they have been to hell and back.

What is Your Priority?

Growing up was fun. It had its high and low points, but today I thank God for lessons learnt. One thing was stable though; My family. Back then, a friend of mine complained about how her parents would argue and fight in front of them. Her dad would slap his mum and mum would insult his whole generation. It was terrible and rubbed off badly on my friend who was always ready to fight even my wars. I did not understand what she was saying because my parents never fought nor yelled. I never saw them argue instead couples with problems always came to the house to settle their issues. In my young mind, my parents were perfect. As an adult I have realized that every marriage, relationship or union has it's rocky side. Life is not always sweet and rosy and being a parent is the hardest job ever. I have also realized that my parents like every other couple must have had their differences. However, whatever issue they had was settled in the bedroom and definitely never in front of their

Life Is Tough. Love Is Twisted.

When I was a kid, we had this cute little puppy. It was so cute we would cuddle and carry him around. I loved showing him off to friends and our puppy loved us so much he felt he was no longer a dog. He was happy. It happened that my dad came home one nice day with a kitten. This kitty was so cute and adorable that we forgot our cute little puppy. We could not drop kitty, started showing him off and forgot to make out time for puppy. Kitty loved to be cuddled. We noticed Puppy was sad and would yelp at kitty, but we ignored him. Besides we always fed him so what is he complaining about?

SOUL TIES

Culled from Breaking Soul Ties by Olusola Adio. Please do not stop until you get to the end... 1. I want to state that we are not here to condemn anyone or stigmatize anyone who has repeatedly fallen into sin due to #SoulTies 2. We are here to expose #SoulTies as the works of the enemy that the blood of Jesus has been shed to purge us from. 3. We are also not here to provide excuses and reasons for Christians to continue in sin due to a misunderstanding of grace. #SoulTies 4. The Bible states clearly in Romans 6:23 that “the wages of sin is death” #SoulTies is no excuse for us to continue in sin. 5. We are here to work out our salvation (that Jesus already paid with His blood) from #SoulTies according to God’s word. 6. We start with the scriptures as is our usual practice by reading from Eph 2:3. #SoulTies 7.Ephesians2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh. Conversation there means our behavioral patterns

All Na Imported...

Image
Hmmm things happen in Naija sha. On the other News, our beloved and renowned Senator who recently acquired a 2015 beautiful red car estimated to cost $24,000 (about N4.78 million) was involved in a mudslinging session at the floor of the Nigerian Senate where he allegedly accused our very own Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole, of preferring 'imported' ladies to 'made in Nigeria' (home grown) women. I no fit shout ooo!!! If you ask me, I think this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. History will prove that most of our Senators, Governors and top government officials have been and are still in love with imported and foreign products. If it is not a car, na house or apparels. Going for Medical checkup abroad is now like going to the bank or better still going to your backyard. If you can import luxury cars because you love them, why badmouth me for importing a beautiful wife because I love her? All na imported things na (clearing my throat) .
