I got up early before my workday started to drive to his apartment, pick him up and drop him off at the office. I rearranged my schedule to make sure I could take him home. I picked up his favorite snacks when we had movie night. I used my credit card to pay for his shopping sprees and loaned him my car when he wanted to take an overnight trip to see his family. Some Nigerians can form eh I was in a fine and expensive restaurant when two young men walked in with two ladies. It turned out I grew up with one of the men. The other young man, a full blooded Nigerian had this American accent and kept on saying "whor" meaning "what" I guess, to everything we said. He claimed that he could not understand our grammar.
