Welcome back Madam Grace! It's nice to have you around again."

"Hello Mike! Oh I missed you all too."

He rushed forward to help her PA drag her luggages out of the car.

"I hope you enjoyed your trip ma?"

"Definitely and I got a gift for you." She turned and beckoned on her PA who rushed forward with a small transparent shopping bag which she presented to the awe struck Mike.

"Ah madam God will bless you oh!"

Mike cradled the bag with unreserved excitement. His glance slightly drifted towards his colleagues who were by the door then back to the beautiful and glamorous middle aged woman heading into the hotel.

"Bless you too my son." Her smile widened as he ushered her through the automatic doors into the cool lobby followed closely by her PA and the porter who wheeled the luggages closely behind them.

Mike smiled and walked over to join the guards standing by the scanner. They were too astonished that they forgot to welcome him with their usual cordial handshakes and pats on the back.

"Guy na only you waka come?" Tbone; the muscular guard queried over a forced giggle.

"We have been standing here with you and no guest even smiled at us yet you have gotten more tips and gifts than all of us put together!"

Mike laughed out and placed the expensive bottle of perfume on the chair by the scanner.

"Guy, you must drop for your boys today oh!"

" Wallahi Mike, if not that I know you well, it would have been hard for anyone to convince me you did not meet a baba for some magical charms. The way all the guests here ask after you and give you gifts is becoming something else. None of them thinks about us!"

Danjuma the second guard explained with a frown.

Mike tugged at his impeccable guards uniform and was about to explain when a sleek black car slowly approaching from the main gate caught his attention;

"Ahh! Auntie Titi is back! Duty calls, catch you guys later!"

He hastened down the stairs to receive the lady alighting from the car with his usual amiable greetings while the two guards frowned deeply.
