BEST CHRISTMAS LIST GUIDE

Nikkyivyblog face of Christmas:
Rev. Fr Jude Chinwe Nwachukwu is wishing you a blessed Christmas celebration
We are already counting down to Christmas so I won't waste your time with long speeches.

If you are still wondering what to add to your Christmas list, then you need not worry because I am going to give you the Best List Guide for your Christmas Shopping.

To make my shopping easier, I always add the following relations and friends to my "People to shop for" list. This time around, I will include people I am guessing should also be on your list, so feel free to amend our list as you wish:

Our first Eleven "People to shop for" will include:

  1. Spouse (Your Baby-Boo, Bae, sweetheart, bitter leaf, any name you wish) should top the list.
  2. Children, Foster – children, Step-children: write down their names so you won't forget anyone
  3. Charitable Organizations like destitute homes, Old people’s homes, Orphanages and so on (I love buying gifts and spending time with them some days before Christmas)
  4. Parents: Mother, Father, Mother-in-law, Father-in-law, Step father/mother, Foster parents.
  5. Siblings: Sisters, Brothers, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Step brothers/sisters.
  6. Nieces, Nephews and all the extended family.
  7. Grandmother, Grandmother-in-law, Grandfather, Grandfather-in-law, Grandchildren Great-grandparents, Great-grandchildren, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles (all the Grand and Great-grand)
  8. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.
  9. Friends, Neighbors
  10. Co-workers, Colleagues, Boss, Mentor (If you have your own business then add  your Personal Assistant, Employees, Clients, Vendors)
  11.  Church Members, Clergy, Club Members and so on
Next question; are you ready to Shop for your Home? You definitely need a comprehensive shopping list

Your list can have as many sections as you wish. You can also include your menu, recipes  and the number of servings or portions for the various sections and days. This will make you more organized and ensure you do not run out of meal ideas or recipes all through the holiday. Your sections may include:

1. Breakfast Section

2. Lunch Section

3. Dinner Section

4. Snacks and Drinks Section: these are very vital. I prefer homemade cakes, candies, small chops, chin chin and rolls during the season for guests. They are also suitable for movie nights and picnics. The best part is that the children can join  in the whole baking process. Try to be flexible with your drink options.

5. Vegetables and Fruit Section: Learn how to make different kinds of salads and dressings. Also it will be advisable to have fresh vegetables and fruits at home. They usually add a flare to your meals.

6. General Section – here I just add every other item we would require around the house like; toiletries, First Aid Kit items for emergencies, Dog food, extra light bulbs, extra trash bags, detergents, rechargeable lanterns, toothpaste, towels, bathing soaps and extra bedding. I also include servicing of the generator, Power Holding cannot be trusted joor ðŸ˜‚😂

On a final note, Please ensure to keep flammable and breakable materials, drugs and liquid soap away from the reach of children to avoid accidents and ensure the safety of your home. Most importantly, do not store fuel in containers this season.

So, that’s it for our Christmaus list.

Happy Shopping Sweeties and eat Healthy!!!
