David stared at her with unconcealed disappointment and disgust. Why would a mature woman behave like a bitter teenager? So this was what Alex had been tolerating? There was no way he was going to let this slide. Infact she would be considered sick in the brain if she ever thought he was going to ignore her attitude tonight.

He slowly went over to the switch board and flipped the light switch on. The room instantly came alive as bright lights flooded in from the designed roof and walls. Tricia blinked and her brow creased.

"Alex went the extra mile to ensure you are happy." 

David said slowly as if he was talking to a recalcitrant child,  

"He has alot going on with his family yet he remembered your birthday because he values you as his woman. However, instead of being grateful, you opted to act like a half-witted, spoilt teenager!" 

His tone spiked and Tricia sprung up as if stung by a bug. She opened her mouth to retort but David was beyond furious and continued before she could say a word;

"None of our friends would do this for any woman. NONE! I didn't even remember my woman's last birthday in time yet she was happy when I showed up. She was grateful for the last minute gift I got her. In your case, you have nagged all night and acted like a cheap wh... "

He paused and took a deep breath to calm his emotions. Tricia chose that moment to speak up. She took a step towards him;

"How dare you insult me! Alex will hear about this once he gets back. You're lucky he is not within the network coverage right now but I promise David he will hear of your arrogance the moment I get through to him!" 

David laughed out briefly before sneering at her; 

"Sincerely I can't even see what he sees in you. You're not even as beautiful as most of the women begging him to ditch you for them and the worst part is that you lack proper home training." 

His eyes hastily ran over her. His woman had more curves, was taller and definitely more mature. Alex could have chosen any woman yet he decided to settle for Tricia! If he wanted a TV presenter, if that was the catch, there were several very outstanding, smart and sharp ladies to select from.

"You must apologize to me this minute! David I demand an apology right now!"

Hello Nikky, I love the pictures you have been sharing with us this season. But I just want to share this my first experience Of White Christmas with you and everyone. As a teenager, I always loved watching or seeing Hollywood Christmas movies especially on Hallmark movies Channel. Its something I looked forward to every Christmas. The best part was always the part they play in the snow, build snow men or when I hear stuff like; "its white Christmas!" I remember I used to wish we had snow during Christmas in Naija. I would have given anything to convince God to change our yeye harmattan to winter.

Maurice I know you can hear me!”   Eric was flanked by a handful of his ferocious looking squad who were dressed in their usual uniform of red and black in multiple designs. It was almost midnight and they were in front of a modern bungalow designed with bricks and surrounded by properly trimmed flowers and shrubs. The space around the house was illuminated by bright lights hanging from the walls of the house and he could see from the open slider windows that it was occupied. Some of his men headed for the backyard while the others took up positions at the sides. They were all wielding clubs and machetes.

When you know what you want, and want it bad enough, you’ll find a way to get it  - Jim Rohn ---------------- Ituron community - "He is in there." Boma pointed at the door of a small locally remodeled cottage. A single light bulb was carelessly attached to the wall above the door. It's weak light fought against the pitch darkness of the night which seemed to be edging closer to the mud walls plastered with cement. The men flanked the building. "Are you sure?" Eric's right hand man questioned aggressively while they all glared at the wooden door as if a criminal awaited behind it. "Yes sir! I'm very sure." Boma wiped her running nose with the end of her wrapper. Eric signalled to his men and two of them rushed over and effortlessly broke down the door.  They dove into the house and before long angry and hight pitched voices were heard followed by the noise of struggling.
