PREVIOUSLY Regrettably, several young people are still battling with sexual and reproductive health challenges resulting from practicing unhealthy sexual behaviors, having multiple sexual partners, early involvement in sexual activities and failure to protect themselves and their sexual and reproductive health. These were choices made last year during this season or several years ago and the resultant infections have become terminal simply because of these wrong choices and failure to discover the early signs and seek professional help.

  If you are a parent or guardian and a staunch believer of the ideology that your child or the young person in your care is too young to know about sex, is not aware of sexual attractions, can never be actively engaging in or considering indulging their raging hormones, then you will definitely believe it when I say that fishes no longer need water to survive. The thing about fishes sounds ridiculous right? Without being economical with the truth, that is exactly how your belief sounds in today's world.  As much as you might want to argue that such parents are non-existent, sadly, despite all the stories on social media surrounding young people and bad sexual choices, most parents and guardians are still like the proverbial ostrich whose head is buried in the sand. For most of them, it is; IMPOSSIBLE!   I saw the flyer attached to this post and it prompted me to write this article.  There's no doubting the fact that mother's should be celebrated. That is not my focus tonight.  My aim or better still, the intent of this article is to refute the myth that sexuality and celebration of lover's day is NOT for the older adults. I will ignore the fact that the flyer referred to only ladies and rivert my attention on the widely accepted genders (male and female). Do not worry, t his will not be a long article since I want to believe that the flyer is only a joke, But since it is being circulated online, I think my comment might ease someone's spiking anxiety. 

We were examining scenarios that could trigger a lack of self worth in us during this season. You can read the previous episode here . So my question is:  Will your life end after the 14th of February?  I know your answer is NO! GOD FORBID! So, please remind me again; why are you feeling depressed this season? 

As the generally acclaimed lovers day (Valentine's Day) draws nearer, most single young people might experience a myriad of emotions. For clarity sake, I will list some emotional feedbacks most people I have talked to usually get at this season. All you have to do is check if any of the categories describe the emotions you are getting at the moment. In other words, do you fall within any of the categories.  Ready? Let's go.
