Magic In The Air

I woke up today with a smile and a lovely tune in my head. By the way, I love this song by Sinach “I know who I am”, I sang it all night, probably danced to it in my sleep and this morning in the bathroom I swear my voice sounded better than Sinach’s…LOL!

I beg you, do not to be confused by my wonderful mood. I didn't win MTN's fictitious Aeroplane, Sigh. Its simply that time of the year when I get possessed by a divine, awesome feeling that makes me come alive. At this time, it takes all my willpower to suppress the urge to dance to the lovely tune in my head during official functions and my usual daily routine. I always find myself nodding.

It’s the Christmas Season again! The joy of the season makes me glow, although my friends attribute that to the weather but all na the same, keeps me in a cheery mood and somehow my very tight schedule becomes surmountable. At this time of the year, nothing gets to me. Not the hike in prices of basic commodities, the fuel queues, the story about Nigerians being deported from the UK (by the way, I have friends and relations over there and find it very unsettling), the Political crises nor the news that the price of my favorite vacation spot just tripled…absolutely nothing gets to me.

Did you say: ehmm Nikky abeg make we hear word? Hahaha!! Well too bad for you because this is my blog and from today on wards it’s going to be all about my love for December and the Christmas Season.

There is magic in this season and Sweetie, if you made it to the last month in 2015, then you have every reason to jubilate, swing your hips and sing praises to the Giver of life. Forget the mountains you have to level, the bills you need to pay and endeavor to tap into this mood because your life will never remain the same.
